about me

Amanda has been a dedicated yoga practitioner for almost ten years, and has been sharing the practice with others for two years. She graduated from VIYETT teacher training course in 2008. Amanda's style of yoga is strongly influenced by hatha, and asthanga vinyasa yoga, which introduced her to the flow of asana.

Amanda is also one of VIYETT teacher training staff, she teaches asana, pranayama, human anatomy and physiology for the teacher trainees. As a qualified nutritionist and yoga teacher, her special interest is nutritional medicine, yoga anatomy, and yoga therapy.

Amanda has recently completed a 200 hr yoga therapy course, and attended various workshops around Victoria to continuously expand her knowledge in yoga. Amanda's favourite time of the day is early in the morning just before sunrise, when she does her first downward facing dog pose for the day and firmly believes that a day is not complete without a downward facing dog pose.
